Location: Ice skating rink, Miles Lane, Bucksport, Maine
Frost Fest, an annual winter celebration, will be held beginning at 11 a.m. with an old-fashioned skating party to music from Ray J’z Muzik, at the ice skating rink on Miles Lane in Bucksport.
Other activities include a snow sculpture competition and miniature golf in a course made of snow. A $5 fee rents a putter and ball; under age 5 free. Snow sculptures will be judged at 3 p.m.
The Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce hopes to provide a fun, healthy, invigorating cold weather experience for children and their families in our local communities. This event helps us demonstrate that our multi-faceted communities are active destinations for those looking for exciting and diverse activities during the winter months.
